Dr. Randolph (Randy) Shoup graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1981, and served in the U.S. Public Health Service from1981 to 1984. He established a private practice in Indianapolis, IN, in 1984 focusing on esthetic dentistry and implant reconstruction.

Throughout his career, Dr. Shoup has utilized the most advanced technologies to deliver comprehensive, non-invasive dental services. He was the first physician to show his patients live images during dental procedures using an intra oral camera. Dr. Shoup is a pioneer as well in microscopic dentistry in which treatment is delivered with the aid of a powerful surgical microscope. He holds a patent on a revolutionary dental device to help dentists and labs create ideal porcelain veneers and crowns.

Dr. Shoup routinely lectures for the American Dental Association on microscope-based restorative techniques and minimally invasive dental procedures. He is a frequent guest lecturer to peer groups, study clubs and dental schools.

He is the co-founder of Sura Spa, a complete facial esthetics center — a unique service concept that combines cosmetic dentistry and state-of-the-art, non-invasive esthetic treatments for the face, teeth and skin.
